Report: Four top-tier sides now court Hannover's Köhn

A move to Germany's footballing Oberhaus begins to look more likely for Hannover 96 defender Derrick Köhn. Germany's main sporting tabloid reports that FSV Mainz 05, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, and VfB Stuttgart now join Borussia Mönchengladbach in courting the 24-year-old.
Former FC Bayern München campus prospect Derrick Köhn, currently of Hannover 96, has already been linked with Gladbach as a potential replacement for the soon-to-depart Ramy Bensebaini. With Gladbach potentially about to be stacked at the left-back position, a move to a different top-tier side now seems more likely.

Germany's "Sport Bild" tabloid reports that VfB Stuttgart, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, and FSV Mainz 05 also have interest in the 2. Bundesliga's top scoring defender. Köhn, who can also play in central defense and further up on the left flank, has netted five league tallies and registered six assists in the current campaign.

Should he be able to maintain his current form, the German tabloid reports that Köhn will depart Lower Saxony at the very latest at the end of next season via a €3 million exit clause in his current contract. The tabloid further notes that Hannover will consider letting the 24-year-old depart this summer for a sum of around €6 million.
