Jan-Christian Dreesen is being considered as a possible replacement for Oliver Kahn as Bayern Munich CEO, according to TZ and AZ.

Kahn's future has been heavily questioned after a tumultous and disappointing 2022/23 season for the German champions.

The current chief financial officer and vice-chairman at Bayern, Dreesen is now being touted as a possible replacement for Kahn.

However, he is also said to be the top candidate to take over as new German Football League (DFL) boss.

Dreesen's contract with Bayern expires at the end of the season, but as pointed out by TZ, the club have yet to bid farewell to the 55-year-old, which could indicate that his time at the club is not over yet.

According to Sport1, Bayern have refused to comment on the reports suggesting that Dreesen could take over from Kahn.
