Augsburg set to sign Dahmen, local media reports

Augsburger Allgemeine reports that Finn Dahmen has opted for a move to Augsburg after leaving Mainz.
Departing Mainz 05 goalkeeper Finn Dahmen is apparently set to join FC Augsburg.

According to the Augsburger Allgemeine, Dahmen is expected to be unveiled as a new Augsburg player today alongside Patric Pfeiffer, who will join the club from Darmstadt on a free transfer.

Mainz announced a few weeks ago that Dahmen will leave the club at the end of his contract.

The 25-year-old, who has been behind Robin Zentner in the pecking order for several seasons, reportedly had several offers on the table.

Dahmen is expected to be Augsburg's new first-choice goalkeeper following the departure of Rafal Gikiewicz.
