Sport Bild Report: PSG running out of time to swing Hernandez transfer

Germany's main sporting tabloid reports that a decision regarding FC Bayern München defender Lucas Hernandez's future should come Tuesday at the latest.

Bayern President Herbet Hainer commented on Hernandez's future whilst speaking to Bild TV on Sunday.
Ever since French international Lucas Hernandez reportedly began contemplating a transfer away from Bundesliga Champions FC Bayern München some weeks ago, the German giants have sought clarity with regard to the 27-year-old's future. Bayern were widely reported to have been engaged in very intense contract extension talks with Hernandez over the past six months and aren't keen on the World Cup Winner's sudden desire to potentially move to PSG.

the latest on the matter, according to Germany's main sporting tabloid, is that Hernandez himself wants to make a final decision on PSG before he departs for vacation on Tuesday. In "Sport Bild's" own words, the French champions must "step on the gas" in order to close the deal. If Hernandez and PSG can't agree to terms within the next 48 hours, Bayern will have a chance to resume where they left off with the player. It is widely reported that Hernandez did secure the terms he wanted from Bayern.

The German tabloid also notes that Bayern won't consider an offer below €50 million.

"We are in talks," FCB President Herbert Hainer said of Hernandez Sport Bild's television service on Sunday, "He is an incredibly good player who fits very well with us, and it is of course our desire to bind him to us in the long term. If you saw Lucas at the championship celebration in Munich, then you don't have the feeling that he is particularly unhappy here."
