Bayern Munich have turned their attention to Kai Havertz in their search for a new number nine, Sky Germany reports.

The German champions have already been linked with a number of strikers this summer, including Kolo Muani, Victor Osimhen, Dusan Vlahovic and Harry Kane.

But with deals for those four targets proving difficult to pull off, the Bavarians now appear to be exploring the possibility of bringing the former Bayer Leverkusen player back to Germany.

However, Arsenal are also said to be keen on the Chelsea attacker and are likely to give Bayern stiff competition for his signature if the Bavarians decide to step up their interest.
