Marco Rose reportedly close to new Leipzig deal

RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose is on the verge of signing a contract extension, Sport Bild claims.

Marco Rose is understood to be close to extending his contract with RB Leipzig beyond 2024.

According to Sport Bild, negotiations between the club and the head coach are in the home stretch.

Per the report, the parties have agreed to extend Rose's contract until 2026.

Rose will reportedly receive a salary increase from €3 million to €4.5 million per year as part of the extension.

Rose took over from Domenico Tedesco last fall and led the club to a third-place finish in the Bundesliga, the DFB-Pokal title and the round of 16 in the Champions League.
