Guirassy has a release clause, Bild reports

High-flying VfB Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy reportedly has a €20 million release clause for next summer.
Serhou Guirassy has a €20 million release clause in his contract with VfB Stuttgart for next summer, according to Bild.

Guirassy joined Stuttgart on loan from Rennes at the end of last season. He was then heavily linked with a move away from the club during the summer, but ultimately stayed put.

Fulham, Nottingham Forest and Ajax were all reportedly interested in signing him during the summer transfer window. Juventus and AC Milan are now said to have joined the race for the striker, who has started the season in scintillating form.

In his first five Bundesliga appearances of the season, Guirassy has found the net an impressive 10 times.

Stuttgart coach Sebastian Hoeness recently expressed his delight at the striker's decision to stay at the club beyond the summer, saying he'd "tried to show the striker that he can really show what he's capable of with another really good Bundesliga season, possibly scoring over 20 goals."

"And then, of course, it could be that very, very different categories of clubs come calling."
