Goalkeeper: Christian Mathenia, FC Nürnberg
Kept out all of Borussia Dortmund's seven shots on goal to earn his side a clean sheet.
Right-back: Danny da Costa, Eintracht Frankfurt (3)
The powerful wing-back was tireless and never stopped running on the right-hand side in the 1-1 draw with Gladbach in which he scored Frankfurt's goal.
Centre-back: Robin Knoche, VfL Wolfsburg
Played a key role in Wolfsburg's 3-0 win over Mainz by scoring a goal and winning 80 percent of his duels.
Centre-back: Salif Sané, Schalke 04 (2)
Schalke 04 were reduced to 10 men before the break against Freiburg, but still kept a clean sheet - and Salif Sané certainly played his part in that accomplishment. The tall defender won all of his duels and found a teammate with 94 percent of his passes.
Left-back: Nico Schulz, Hoffenheim (2)
The energetic wing-back had a great game against Fortuna Düsseldorf. Schulz was involved a lot offensively and set up Kerem Demirbay's goal with a clever pass.
Central midfielder: Kerem Demirbay, Hoffenheim (4)
Demirbay pulled the strings in midfield for Hoffenheim as always, hitting his teammates with 90 percent of his passes. Provided the assist for Ishak Belfodil's goal, scored once and hit the woodwork twice.
Central midfielder: Maximilian Arnold, VfL Wolfsburg
Once again showed how important he is for Wolfsburg. Gave his side a dream start with an early goal and was generally very involved in midfield.
Right wing: Marcel Sabitzer, RB Leipzig (2)
Had a key role in RB Leipzig's 3-1 victory over Stuttgart as he stepped up to score a beautiful free kick goal.
Offensive midfielder: Kai Havertz, Bayer Leverkusen (4)
The 19-year-old was once again a deciding factor for Leverkusen as he scored the opener after making a clever run in the 2-0 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf.
Left wing: Kingsley Coman, Bayern München
Was involved in all of Bayern's three goals against Augsburg as he scored a brace and provided the assist for David Alaba's winner.
