Marcel Halstenberg (defender), RB Leipzig - 12.4M
The RB Leipzig full-back has been a really strong fantasy asset over the course of the whole season so far. Halstenberg wins a lot of duels, makes plenty of passes to shots, has set up six goals and plays for the team with the league's best defensive record. Into the bargain, Halstenberg and RB Leipzig have some manageable fixtures coming up (FC Nürnberg (A), Augsburg (H), Schalke 04 (A)). If you want another player from 'Die Roten Bullen', it's maybe worth taking a punt on Willi Orban (defender, 12.3M) who has scored three goals in his last five appearances. Orban's starting berth will be challenged once Dayot Upamecano returns from his knee injury, but the French defender isn't expected to do so until the end of March.

Maximilian Mittelstädt (defender), Hertha BSC - 5.3M
The 21-year-old plays in a quite advanced wing-back role and thus gets forward quite a bit. Hertha coach Pal Dardai has put a lot in trust in Mittelstädt and recently said that he considers him a future German international. Mittelstädt, who has scored three goals and made one assist in 20 games in all competitions this season, costs just 5.3M and could turn out to be a scoop with games against Mainz and Freiburg coming up. If you're willing to spend a little more on a Hertha player, Davie Selke (striker, 14M) is an option to consider. The 24-year-old has been in impressive form since the start in the second half of the season, scoring two goals and making four assists in his last six games.

Raphael Guerreiro (defender), Borussia Dortmund - 11.4M
Guerreiro has emerged as an important player for Borussia Dortmund after putting in some impressive performances in recent months. Despite being listed as a defender in-game, the Portuguese international, who takes most of his team's set pieces, plays as a winger. With games against struggling FC Augsburg and VfB Stuttgart coming up, he surely looks like a solid acquisition.

Kai Havertz (midfielder), Bayer Leverkusen - 16.9M
Havertz is quite expensive, but he's also quite good - to say the least. The 19-year-old had a strong first half of the season even if his team struggled under Heiko Herrlich, and he has continued his great performances under Peter Bosz with three goals and one assist in his last three Bundesliga games. In addition to that, Havertz has scored the only penalty under Peter Bosz so far which suggests he's currently the preferred penalty taker. Leverkusen have generally looked very impressive under Bosz and should consider themselves unlucky to have lost 2-3 to Dortmund last week. With favourable fixtures against Freiburg and Hannover 96 coming up, it may be time to get on the Havertz train.
