Müller on win over Lazio: "We're trying to enjoy this feeling now"

Thomas Müller has admitted that Tuesday's 3-0 win over Lazio provided a morale boost for a Bayern team that has been disappointing of late.
Bayern Munich enjoyed a morale-boosting win over Lazio on Tuesday night, booking their place in the Champions League quarter-finals with a comfortable 3-0 victory.

Speaking to Prime Video after the game, Thomas Müller said he was delighted with the result and the performance, which came as a welcome relief after a tough few weeks at Säbener Strasse.

"We are very happy and we try to enjoy this feeling now. No matter what was in the media recently, no matter what they say tomorrow. We're all very happy, we can enjoy it now because we played well," said Müller.

"I've always said that it's not a complete shambles. Today was really good. It was a lot of fun, we had a good structure. The game was good, but we also know that Lazio aren't at their best. We didn't reach a new level, but it was a very important step."

Muller scored Bayern's second goal in the 3-0 win.
