Burgstaller signs new Schalke deal
Guido Burgstaller has extended his contract with Schalke 04.

The striker's contract was due to run out in 2020, but he has now put pen to paper on a new deal.
"I'm so pleased that I will be playing for Schalke 04 for the next few years as it means so much to me," Burgstaller told the club's website and continued:
"I would like to thank everybody who has supported me during my time here. Now the important thing is that we all do everything we can to get ourselves out of this difficult situation in the Bundesliga."
Burgstaller, 29, has scored 28 goals in 88 appearances for Schalke since joining the Gelsenkirchen club from FC Nürnberg in January 2017.
