The Guardian recently reported that Bayern had made an offer of €80 million for Leroy Sané, but Bayern München CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge denies that's the case.

According to the 63-year-old, the German international is yet to decide if he wants to join Bayern - and he has to make a decision before the Bavarians will go into concrete negotiations with Manchester City.

"We haven't made an offer for Leroy Sané. It hasn't come that far yet. At first, the player has to decide whether he can imagine coming to Bayern. If that's the case, then we'll go into concrete negotiations with Manchester City," Rummenigge told Sport Bild and continued:

"The player is the most important factor. Apparently, Leroy hasn't decided yet. Hasan Salihamidzic (the sporting director of Bayern München) leads the talks in this regard.

"I think the player is exciting. Both in terms of footballing quality and as a type."

According to Sport Bild, Sané has recently been in talks with the management of former Manchester United star David Beckham, who should represent him in the future instead of his mother, Regina.

The German news outlet further reports that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is willing to let Sané go, so it seems the ball is entirely in the 23-year-old's court at this point.
