SC Freiburg striker Nils Petersen says he currently doesn't have any intentions of leaving the club.

The 30-year-old, who is under contract until 2021, feels well at Schwarzwald-Stadion.

"I'd like to continue my career here in Freiburg. I'm 30 years old and still have some time left on my contract. We'll have to see for how long I can keep playing at this level," Petersen told Sport1 and added:

"As long as I can still help, I like being here. I don't feel the need to go anywhere else, but of course you can never say never in this business."

Petersen joined Freiburg from Werder Bremen in 2015. The striker has scored two goals in eight appearances this season.
