Timo Werner felt RB Leipzig could be 'very satisfied' with their performance in Saturday's 4-1 win over FC Köln.

"We played very well again today. Two of our goals came from set pieces. That's slowly becoming one of our strengths. We can be very satisfied."

Julian Nagelsmann's troops have now netted 24 times in their last five games, and Werner feels it's clear that his new coach has a more offensive approach than Ralf Rangnick who was in charge of the team last season.

"Julian [Nagelsmann] plays very offensive football. As you can see, we don't keep as many clean sheets as we did under [Ralf] Rangnick. But we're scoring plenty of goals and are very dangerous. We could have scored even more goals today, so we still have something to work at," said Werner, who on Saturday became the youngest ever player to reach 200 Bundesliga appearances at 23 years, 8 months and 18 days.

RB Leipzig sit second in the Bundesliga table - one point behind league leaders Borussia Mönchengladbach.
