Report: Erling Braut Haaland could leave RB Salzburg for €20 million in January

Bild claims that Erling Braut Haaland's release clause is just €20 million.
It has been widely reported that RB Salzburg starlet Erling Braut Haaland will be available for €30 million in the summer thanks to a release clause.

However, according to a report from Bild, the highly-rated striker has a release clause of just €20 million which makes it possible for him to leave the Austrian champions as soon as in January.

Haaland has been linked with a number of German clubs, with Borussia Dortmund, Bayern München and RB Leipzig all said to be interested in acquiring his services.

The 19-year-old has also attracted interest from England and is said to be keen on playing in the Premier League, but Sport Bild reported a few weeks ago that his father and agent, Alf-Inge Haaland, is advising him to join a German club as an intermediate step.

"Erling wants to play in the Premier League. I don't know when it's the right time. We're ahead of our career schedule, but it's a very tough league," Alf-Inge Haaland told the German media outlet.

Haaland has scored 27 times in 20 games for RB Salzburg this season.
