Josh Sargent to sit out for the rest of the year

Werder Bremen will be without Josh Sargent for the rest of the year.

Josh Sargent will be out of action until after Christmas due to an injury, Werder Bremen have announced.

The young striker is suffering from a muscle strain that already caused him problems during the international break in November.

Nevertheless, he was able to play 90 minutes in his country's 4-0 win over Cuba on that saw him score a brace.

Sargent was able to feature as a substitute against Wolfsburg on Sunday as well, but has complained about muscle problems in the wake of the match.

The 19-year-old is expected to be back in training in the beginning of January.
