Report: Bayern drop out of the race for RB Salzburg star Erling Braut Haaland

Apparently, Bayern München have dropped out of the race for the signature of RB Salzburg's Erling Braut Haaland.
Bayern München will reportedly not be making an offer for RB Salzburg star Erling Braut Haaland when the transfer window opens in January.

According to a report from Bild, the German champions have decided that they will not try to bring in the 19-year-old.

The report claims that the Bayern bosses believe that Haaland wouldn't get enough playing time as a back-up for Robert Lewandowski at Allianz Arena.

Additionally, the club bosses have noticed how well Serge Gnabry has been doing up top for the German national team and are confident that he would be able to play as a striker if needed.

Haaland has also been linked with Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig as well as a number of clubs from England.

According to Bild, the young striker has a €20 million release clause in his contract with RB Salzburg.
