Ondrej Duda confirms desire to leave Hertha

Ondrej Duda confirms that he's looking to leave Hertha BSC this month.
Ondrej Duda has most likely played his last game for Hertha BSC.

Speaking in an interview with Kicker, the offensive midfielder makes it clear that he wants to depart the club.

"I've already decided that I want to go, but not because I don't want to stay. I want to leave. I'm not changing my mind. If someone doesn't want you, it's not possible to stay," Duda said and added:

"I'm just disappointed. Some people have disappointed me."

The 25-year-old has slipped down the pecking order this season and has played just one game since Jürgen Klinsmann took over as coach towards the end of the November.

According to Sport Bild, Fortuna Düsseldorf are looking into the possibility of bringing him in on loan.

Duda was one of Hertha's stand-out performers in the 2018/19 season, making 35 appearances with 11 goals and seven assists to his name.
