Fantasy Bundesliga tips: Matchday 23

Here are our Fantasy Bundesliga tips for Matchday 23.
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious premium options such as Filip Kostic, Timo Werner and Robert Lewandowski. Instead, we will take a look at the players who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 23.

Goalkeepers:
Robin Zentner (Mainz, 1.2M) looks the best low-price option in goal while Florian Kastenmeier (Fortuna Düsseldorf, 1M) offers a cheap alternative to the Mainz goalkeeper.

Defenders:
Although Ismail Jakobs (FC Köln, 1.5M) should be moved from midfield to left back after Noah Katterbach's injury, he's still a bargain.

Peter Pekarik (Hertha BSC, 2M) started under Alexander Nouri at the wing-back position last time around and could keep his spot in the starting eleven.

Timothy Chandler (Frankfurt, 5.5M) was on the bench for Frankfurt's 4-1 win over RB Salzburg on Thursday, but with the impact he has made as a right winger in 2020, he should return to the line-up against Union Berlin.

Angelino (RB Leipzig, 8.2M) has looked really promising since he joined Leipzig from Manchester City on loan in January and most recently impressed against Tottenham in the Champions League on Wednesday.

You could also look at his teammate Nordi Mukiele (RB Leipzig, 9.6M) who has done well in recent weeks too.

Bayern München coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that Alvaro Odriozola (Bayern München, 9.6M) is due to start on Friday, with Benjamin Pavard ruled out with suspension, so the Spaniard offers a cheap way into Bayern's backline this week.

Midfielders:
Borussia Dortmund coach Lucien Favre has sung the praises of Giovanni Reyna (Dortmund, 1M) ahead of Saturday's clash with Werder Bremen, and a report from Bild suggests that the 17-year-old is likely to make his first start.

With Ismail Jakobs expected to be moved back to defence, Florian Kainz (FC Köln, 5.8M) should start at left wing which makes him a potential differential for the coming Matchday.

Daichi Kamada (Frankfurt, 6.7M) had an outstanding game against RB Salzburg in the Europa League on Thursday, scoring a hat-trick, and will look to continue his form against Union Berlin on Monday.

Janik Haberer (Freiburg, 8M) scored last week after being moved to the wing, and the position change has turned the 25-year-old into an interesting Fantasy option.

Xaver Schlager (Wolfsburg, 10.4M) and Admir Mehmedi (Wolfsburg, 11M) both look like solid picks for Wolfsburg's home clash with Mainz.

You could also look at Florian Neuhaus (Gladbach, 12.4M) who had a great game against Fortuna Düsseldorf last week.

Strikers:
Matheus Cunha (Hertha BSC, 8.1M) picked up 8 points in his Hertha debut last week and has emerged as a viable Fantasy option following his January move from RB Leipzig.

André Silva (Frankfurt, 10.7M) has received a lot of praise in recent weeks and may be worth bringing in for Frankfurt's home game against Union Berlin.

Luca Waldschmidt (Freiburg, 11.5M) has the potential to score big at home against a struggling Fortuna Düsseldorf side.

Jhon Cordoba (FC Köln, 11.2M) has been in great form in recent weeks and could have scored against Bayern München on Matchday 22 with a little more luck.

Finally, Marcus Thuram (Gladbach, 13.7M) and Alassane Plea (Gladbach, 14.7M) are both attractive options for Gladbach's home clash with Hoffenheim.
