Leroy Sané has arrived at Bayern München with the ambition of winning all there is to win in Germany.

The former Schalke 04 winger, who has joined FC Bayern from Manchester City ahead of the 2020/21 season, told Kicker:

"I haven't won any titles in Germany, and therefore I'm determined to win some with Bayern. It's especially appealing to keep winning all the titles that can be won."

Sane recently witnessed his new teammates win the Champions League with a 1-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the final and is hoping that the Bavarians can repeat that achievement in the coming years.

"I've never won the Champions League either, so that's a big goal for me as well," the German international said.

The 24-year-old insists his move to Bayern isn't a step back in his career.

"Certainly not. I'm not going backwards by moving to Bayern. There are great players here, Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in the world," Sane said.

"The Premier League has great games and great teams. But Bayern would definitely compete for the title there, there is no doubt about that. Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in the world."
