Alexander Sørloth to replace Patrik Schick at RB Leipzig?

RB Leipzig have reportedly lined up Alexander Sørloth, on loan at Trabzonspor from Crystal Palace, as a replacement for Patrik Schick, who appears unlikely to join the Bundesliga club permanently from AS Roma.

RB Leipzig are in talks over the signing of Norwegian international striker Alexander Sørloth, according to Kicker.

The Bundesliga side were initially hoping to sign Patrik Schick after his loan spell, but negotiations with his parent club, AS Roma, have proved difficult.

While it now looks like Schick will be moving to Leverkusen instead, 'Die Roten Bullen' appear to have turned their attention to Sørloth.

Last summer, the 24-year-old joined Trabzonspor from Crystal Palace on a loan deal until 2021 with an option to buy.

According to Kicker, RB Leipzig are currently in talks with the Turkish side regarding Sørloth, who scored 33 goals in 49 games last season.
