1. FC Union Berlin v. 1. FSV Mainz 05:

M: Marius Bülter, Midfielder (FCU, 8.3M, 2%) 4pts wk2, 13pts wk1 - With so much uncertainty unfolding in the Mainz camp, one may be weary of which Mainz team will actually show up to play on Friday night. Bülter did not get off the mark against Gladbach last week, but the attacking midfielder has a good chance to impress in this match. He already has a goal on three shots, as well as 10 attempted crosses so far this season.

D: Robin Quaison, Forward (M05, 10.1M, 1%) 6, 4 - Quaison is reportedly one of the four remaining players on the Mainz chopping block. With news of English teams on the lookout, Quaison should be focused to impress any future suitors. He has started the season quite well with a goal and an assist in the first two matches.

Borussia Dortmund v. Sport-Club Freiburg:

M: Raphaël Guerreiro, Defender (BVB, 13.9 M, 8%) 4, 0 - After sitting on the bench during the DFL-Supercup Wednesday night, Gurreiro looks poised to start on Saturday. With reports of Jadon Sancho’s illness possibly sidelining him for the match, there will be even more of an opportunity for Gurreiro to make an impact.

D: Vincenzo Grifo, Midfielder (SCF, 11.5M, 2%) 13, 9 - The Freiburg talisman has been on fire to start the season, providing countless attacking opportunities while also grabbing a goal and an assist. Grifo is also responsible for Freiburg’s corner and free kicks.

Eintracht Frankfurt v. TSG Hoffenheim:

M: Andrej Kramarić, Forward (TSG, 14.8M, 7%) 20, 23 - When healthy, there are few better strikers in the Bundesliga than Kramarić. With what he has been able to accomplish so far in the season, ride him while he is hot.

D: Steven Zuber, Midfielder (SGE, 6.1M, 1%) 6, 4 - With Filip Kostić expected to miss a substantial amount of time due to injury, Zuber will be the man to fill his spot. While not as flashy, Zuber will still be expected to be a provider to Frankfurt's formidable duo up front in Silva and Dost.

1. FC Köln v. Borussia M’gladbach:

M: Alassane Pléa, Forward (BMG, 15.1M, 1%) 7, -1 - Leading the Gladbach attack, Pléa managed three shots with two on target against Union. Against a leaky Köln defense, Pléa will be hoping to bag his first goal of the season as he works his way back to full fitness.

D: Ondrej Duda, Midfielder (KOE, 6.9M, 1%) 3, 5 - Duda put in another solid performance last week, taking one shot and attempting four crosses against Bielefeld. He is also splitting time on corners with Elvis Rexhbecaj.

SV Werder Bremen v. DSC Arminia Bielefeld:

M: Ludwig Augustinsson, Defender (SVW, 9.6M, 4%) 16, 10 - One of the top performers of the season so far, Augustinsson put on another exceptional show for the fans last weekend. Compiling an impressive stat line of one assist, one shot and nine crosses, Augustinsson should continue his fine form against Bielefeld.

D: Marcel Hartel, Midfielder (DSC, 6.9M, 1%) 3, 5 - Hartel is responsible for the majority of free kicks and corners for Bielefeld. He also led the team in crosses last matchday with six.

VfB Stuttgart v. Bayer 04 Leverkusen:

M: Moussa Diaby, Forward (B04, 12M, 2%) 6, 3 - The speedy winger has yet to have his name written on the score sheet this season but was very close last week, finishing with four shots, two on target and also sending in three crosses. Diaby and Leverkusen should break their slump this weekend after scoring only one goal so far in the first two games.

D: Patrik Schick, Forward (B04, 14.1M, 0%) 5, 1 - Following the same outlook as Diaby, Schick and Leverkusen are bound to break free after a sluggish start. Schick has yet to get on the score sheet for his new club.

RB Leipzig v. FC Schalke 04:

M: Emil Forsberg, Forward (RBL, 11.4M, 3%) 5, 20 - Another player who when healthy is among the top in the league, Forsberg has enjoyed a bright and healthy start to the season. With two goals and an assist in two games, Forsberg and Leipzig have an appealing matchup with a disheartened Schalke squad.

D: Alexander Sørloth, Forward (RBL, 13M, 0%) 3, 0 - After scoring 24 goals and providing nine assists in 34 league matches in Turkey while at Trabzonspor, Leipzig may have another gem striker on their hands. With news of Yussuf Poulsen’s injury, Sørloth could get his first league start in his place.

VfL Wolfsburg v. FC Augsburg:

M: Josip Brekalo, Midfielder (WOB, 9.5M, 3%) 11, 9 - Brekalo has been an attacking focal point so far for Wolfsburg, amassing one goal, six shots and seven crosses early on this season. After a lackluster start to the season, a somewhat overperforming Augsburg meet and underperforming Wolfsburg.

D: Iago, Defender (FCA, 5.3M, 0%) 8, 9 - Cheaper than his defending compatriot Framberger, by 1.1M, Iago is proving to be one of the best budget and differential options in the game. He may be no Philipp Max, but he is sure to provide a decent amount of attacking returns for very cheap.

FC Bayern München v. Hertha BSC:

M: Thomas Müller (FCB, 16.6M, 9%) 11, 13 - Still able to grab 11 points on a terrible loss, Müller will continue to be Bayern’s ironman. With Leroy Sané set to miss some time with injury, there should be no minute lost under Müller as they look to put the Hoffenheim misstep behind them.

D: Dodi Lukébakio (BSC, 11.3M, 1%) 7, 10 - Lukébakio has been very active this season, already registering one goal on four shots in two starts. However, one can only hope for the magic of matchday 12, 2018 to strike again.
