Bundesliga Player of the Month for October: The six candidates

Here are the candidates for the Bundesliga Player of the Month award for October.

The six contenders to win the Bundesliga Player of the Month award for October have been announced.

Bayern München have two nominees, with Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Müller both in contention for the prize.

They face competition from RB Leipzig left-back Angelino, Bayer Leverkusen striker Lucas Alario, Hertha BSC forward Matheus Cunha and Borussia Dortmund centre-back Mats Hummels.

Last month, Hoffenheim's Andrej Kramaric was crowned winner of first Bundesliga Player of the Month award of the season.
