Fantasy Bundesliga tips: 10 players to consider for Matchday 12

Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga Team for Matchday 12.
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Robert Lewandowski or Angelino.

Instead, we will highlight players with an ownership percentage below 10%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 12.

Tobias Sippel, Gladbach (Goalkeeper, 1m)
Tobias Sippel stepped in to replace Yann Sommer last week and could be given another start against Frankfurt on Tuesday if the Swiss international fails to recover from a groin injury in time for tomorrow's game. At this point, it's not certain if Sippel, who is available for just 1 million, will be in goal again. Fortunately, since Gladbach play the opening game of Matchday 12, you will be able to see the line-up before the Fantasy Bundesliga transfer window slams shut.

Borna Sosa, Stuttgart (Defender, 4.4m)
The 22-year-old has looked quite impressive in recent weeks, scoring 24 points in his last two games. Most recently, he set up a goal and came close to scoring from a direct free-kick against Dortmund. An attacking wing-back playing for an in-form Stuttgart side with a solid match-up versus Union Berlin, Sosa is a steal at 4.4 million.

Raphael Framberger, Augsburg (Defender, 6.1m)
Many Fantasy Bundesliga managers were probably looking to bring in Iago for Augsburg's clash with crisis-hit Schalke on Matchday 10, but they were forced to change their plans when the Spaniard was ruled out shortly before the game. Some may have opted to buy the slightly more expensive Raphael Framberger instead, and the right-back didn't disappoint, notching a solid nine points. With some fairly favorable fixtures on the horizon and a price tag of just 6.1 million, the 25-year-old remains a good option.

Christian Günter, Freiburg (Defender, 11.9m)
Günter was among our recommendations last time around, and with Freiburg set to lock horns with bottom side Schalke 04, he should still be on your radar after his 11-point haul last week.

Tanguy Coulibaly, Stuttgart (Midfielder, 1.1m)
The second-highest scoring midfielder on Matchday 10, Coulibaly gives you plenty of bang for your buck at just 1.1 million. Despite being a midfielder on the game, the Frenchman played as a striker against Dortmund and had an excellent game, racking up 17 points in his side's 5-1 victory.

Nassim Boujellab, Schalke 04 (Midfielder, 2.8m)
Despite the fact that Schalke 04 are without a win in their last 27 league games, we'll put our neck on the line and recommend a player from the Gelsenkirchen side. Schalke actually came close to putting their bad streak to an end against Augsburg on Sunday after Nassim Boujellab made it 2-1 in the second half, but his goal was cancelled out by Marco Richter in injury time. Still, Boujellab and Schalke can take positives from the display with two home games against Freiburg and Arminia Bielefeld up next. Costing just 2.8 million and playing as an attacking midfielder, the 21-year-old may be worth a punt.

Vincenzo Grifo, Freiburg (Midfielder, 13.3m)
The talisman of the Freiburg side, Grifo has picked up 46 in his last three games, finding the net in each of them. Now facing a Schalke side, who are winless in 27 league games, the 27-year-old could put in another decisive performance.

Silas Wamangituka, Stuttgart (Striker, 8.8m)
Wamangituka has been a revelation in his first Bundesliga season with seven goals and three assists to his name in 11 league games so far. Having scored a whopping 62 points in his last four games, the 21-year-old seems unstoppable at the moment.

Leon Bailey, Leverkusen (Striker, 13.3m)
After a disappointing 2019/20 campaign, Bailey finally seems to be back at his best. Leverkusen, in general, are in excellent form, having won nine out of their last 10 games in all competitions after Sunday's 4-1 victory over Hoffenheim, which saw them move top of the Bundesliga. Bailey, who netted twice on Sunday, have had a hand in 15 goals in 16 games this season and will be looking to continue his impressive form against FC Köln on Wednesday.

Matheus Cunha, Hertha BSC (Striker, 14.3m)
After missing Saturday's 1-1 draw with Gladbach due to suspension, Cunha is set to come back into Hertha's starting eleven against a Mainz side, who have lost eight of their 11 Bundesliga games this season. Having already been involved in 11 goals in 11 games for Hertha this season, the 21-year-old certainly has the potential to score big on Matchday 12.
