After jumping back and forth between permanent and loan deals, Douglas Costa may finally end up playing in a different club other than Juventus or Bayern Munich – for the first time since 2015.

The Juventus loanee, who is in Bundesliga until the end of the season has reportedly attracted interest from Italian giants AC Milan, according to Tuttosport.

The Germans have already made their intentions known to Juventus that they will not exercise their option to buy at the end of the loan term. The 30-year-old faces an uncertain future, having started only 6 times in 19 appearances this season for Bayern.

Costa would relish the chance of being a starter once again. He lies behind the likes of Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane in the wide midfield role in Hansi Flick’s books.

The Brazilian current market value stands at €20m and he receives a staggering €6million net per year, which may prove to be an obstacle for Milan making the move. Nevertheless, the winger would largely boost Milan’s hopes of winning the Scudetto this season.
