Dani Olmo admits desire to return to Spain in the future
Dani Olmo has targeted a future move to the Spanish La Liga.
RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo has admitted that he would like to play in his home country, Spain, at some point in the future.
The former Barcelona youth prospect, who made the switch to Dinamo Zagreb in 2015 before joining RB Leipzig just over a year ago, told Sport Bild:
"I'd be lying if I said it's not my goal to play in my home country at some point But there's still time. I'm only 22."
Asked how he will react if Barcelona, Real Madrid or Atlético Madrid come knocking for him in the summer, Olmo responded:
"I don't think about that. I'm really focused on Leipzig as I've already stressed several times. I've only been here a year, and we still ant to achieve a lot together. That's the only thing I can influence myself."
Olmo has made 28 appearances for RB Leipzig this season, chipping in with three goals and eight assists.
