According to VfB Stuttgart sporting director Michael Reschke, two of Europe's biggest clubs have already made their interest in Pavard known.
"There are two absolute top clubs who have shown an interest. It's true that there have already been talks with one club or another, but not regarding this season," Reschke said during the 'Wontorra - der o2 Fußball-Talk' TV show.
"In the 2019/20 season, Pavard will be playing for a top-five club. That is clear and perfectly all right. He has an exit clause," Reschke said.
Bayern München are among the clubs that have been mentioned in connection with the 22-year-old, and Reschke says the Bavarians have a good chance of landing the French international.
"I think the race is open, but Bayern have good cards. At the end of the day, 'Benji' will decide. I know he feels comfortable in the Bundesliga, and Bayern are an incredible force of attraction," he said.
Pavard joined Stuttgart from Lille in 2016. Since then, he has made 59 appearances for the club, scoring two goals.
