After an impressive season at Stuttgart, VfB Stuttgart's young French defender Benjamin Pavard has drawn even more attention with his performances at the World Cup. Now, Bayern München want to sign him, Sport Bild reports.

However, Stuttgart are adamant not to let the 22-year old leave the club this summer, and the club's sporting director, Michael Reschke, had said that not even an offer of €50 million can persuade Stuttgart to sell him.

Instead, Bayern are working on signing Pavard in 2019. According to Sport Bild, Pavard has a buy-out clause of €35 million in his contract that will only be possible to trigger from next summer.

"We make no secret of the constellation that Benjamin has a buy-out clause for 2019," Michael Reschke told Bild and added:

"We are willing to forego a lot of money if he plays for us for another year."

According to L'Equipe, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also interested in Pavard.
