Stuttgart boss Sven Mislintat has commented on speculation linking Sasa Kalajdzic with clubs such as Juventus, Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.
VfB Stuttgart sporting director Sven Mislintat has spoken out on Sasa Kalajdzic's future, addressing speculation linking the 23-year-old striker with clubs such as Juventus, Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.
"We know how good he is. We will hold talks with Sasa in the summer at the latest, either before or after the European Championship," Mislintat told Bild.
"Sasa is completely relaxed. He knows how we supported him when he was injured. We didn't sign anyone for his position and always believed in him. He's now repaying that trust with heart and soul."
Kalajdzic is still under contract until 2023, but Stuttgart could offer him a new and improved deal to fend off interest from other clubs.
"He's in a similar situation to the one Nicolas Gonzalez was in last summer. If Sasa gets offers that could put him in a much better position, then we're capable of offering him something in return to extend his contract for a further year."
The 23-year-old has scored 15 goals in 31 appearances this season.
