Report: Stuttgart set price tag for Dortmund target Gregor Kobel

VfB Stuttgart have named their price for Gregor Kobel amid reported interest from Borussia Dortmund, according to Stuttgarter Nachrichten.

Per the report, Kobel has emerged as Dortmund's primary candidate in their search for a new number one and would cost €16-18 million. The 23-year-old still has three years left on his contract with Stuttgart.

Roman Bürki began the season as Dortmund's first-choice goalkeeper, but has lost his place in goal to veteran Marwin Hitz as the season has progressed.

'Die Schwarzgelben' have been linked with a host of other goalkeepers as well, including Peter Gulacsi (RB Leipzig), Koen Casteels (Wolfsburg), Odisseas Vlachodimos (Benfica), Bartlomiej Dragowski (Fiorentina), Alexander Nübel (FC Bayern) and Mike Maignan (Lille).
