Report: Lazio interested, but Dortmund stick to €25 million asking price for Brandt
Italy's Sky Sports affiliate reports that Lazio Rome maintain an active interest in acquiring Dortmund's main expendable Julian Brandt.
At present, however, it does not appear as if the Nordrhein-westfalen club is willing to budge from a transfer fee totaling €25 million.

Brandt has by no means been a disaster in his two seasons with die Schwarzgelben. He has nevertheless disappointed with long goal-scoring droughts and prolonged periods of suspect form. In the intervening two years, Brandt has lost his place on the national team and seen his market value fall from €50 to the price Dortmund seek for him today.
It is such that Sky Italy reports that, despite genuine interest from Lazio head-coach Mauricio Sarri, the Rome-based club is unlikely to conclude a transfer for the 25-year-old former Nationalmannschaft mainstay. The last time Lazio were able to conclude a transfer in that price range came twelve years ago.
Ostensibly, this does not mean that a potential move to the Premiership can be ruled out for Brandt. EPL clubs may still be able to afford him if the BVB are indeed unwilling to compromise. The latest transfermarkt update saw Brandt's market value fall further down to €20 million.
