After some very impressive performances for Borussia Dortmund this season, 18-year-old Jadon Sancho looks set to commit his long-term future to the BVB.

According to WAZ, the English winger is on the brink of signing a new contract that will extend his current deal that runs until 2020 'significantly'.

Sancho has started just once so far this season and has mostly been used as a super-sub, making an impact whenever he has come on. The winger has played 233 minutes this term with one goal and six assists to his name.

Most recently, Sancho was sent on the pitch after 68 minutes in the 4-2 win against Bayer Leverkusen in which he made two assists.

That the 18-year-old feels comfortable in Dortmund is obvious - even if he has mostly appeared as a substitute so far.

"Of course, I don't want to be a substitute. I have to keep working hard so that I can hopefully get into the starting eleven," Sancho told WAZ after the win.

Sancho joined Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City for €7,8 million in 2017.
