According to Foot Mercato, talks are ongoing over a possible transfer to French side Bordeaux.
The 23-year-old Dutch winger joined Hertha on a free transfer from Manchester City's youth team three years ago.
He has featured a total of 59 times for the German capital side, racking up six goals and eight assists.
