Sky Sports reported Norwich City have approached TSG Hoffenheim for 19-year-old striker Jykese Fields. However, the Bundesliga club resisted the interest as they have no intention to sanction a permanent transfer for the Germany U19 international.
Fields is yet to play for Hoffenheim’s first-team, but the club showed their trust in him with his recent contract extension until 2030. According to Sky, clubs from Belgium and Denmark are also monitoring the situation.
The US-born striker scored two goals in 11 appearances for Germany U19 as he was part of the team that reached the U19 Euros final in Wales last month. Fields scored 18 goals last season as Hoffenheim were crowned Germany U19 champions.
