Christopher Olivier’s move from VfB Stuttgart to Brøndby was finally completed on Monday. The defender was the subject of transfer rumors since the turn of the year, but it took some time for the clubs to reach full agreement.

According to reports, the transfer fee for the Austrian U21 international was only €1 million. Stuttgart also added a buyback clause for €7.5 million. The 20-year-old right-back signed a deal until 2030 with his new club.

Olivier only missed four games for Stuttgart II in 3. Liga last season. Although he has been named in their Champions League squad during the 2024/25 season, he hasn’t featured for the first-team during his time in Germany. Brøndby started the new season with seven points from their first three games.
