Several reports: Palhinha to sign Bayern contract today
Joao Palhinha is set to complete his move to Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
According to both Bild and Fabrizio Romano, the Portugal international will arrive in Munich today to sign his contract with the Bavarians.
It was reported on Sunday that Palhinha had already completed a medical ahead of the move.
Palhinha is expected to sign a four-year contract with Bayern after the German club agreed a fee of around €50 million with Fulham.
This means that the 29-year-old will finally complete the transfer that fell through last summer, when he had already traveled to Munich but Fulham couldn't find a replacement in time before the window closed.
Fulham paid a reported €22 million to sign Palhinha from Sporting CP back in 2022.
Since then, the defensive midfielder has featurede 79 times for hte club, scoring eight goals and providing one assist.
He has played 31 games for Portugal and was part of their squad for the Euros.
