Report: Stuttgart's move for Undav close to collapsing

Deniz Undav is looking more and more unlikely to join VfB Stuttgart permanently from Brighton & Hove Albion.

After impressing on loan at VfB Stuttgart last season, Deniz Undav has expressed his desire to join the Swabians permanently from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Stuttgart are keen to tie the 28-year-old down to a permanent deal as well, but have so far been unable to agree a transfer fee with Brighton.

And according to Sky Germany, the deal is now close to collapsing after Brighton rejected a new offer worth €27-30 million for the German international.

The report claims that Brighton's high valuation of Undav has led Stuttgart boss Fabian Wohlgemuth to explore other options as the Bundesliga outfit look to strengthen up front.
