Germany will be without Jamie Leweling for their upcoming friendlies against Switzerland and Ghana.

The German Football Association announced on Tuesday that the VfB Stuttgart winger has been forced to withdraw from the squad due to muscular problems in his calf.

Leweling initially travelled to the Germany camp but, following medical examinations there, will now return to Stuttgart.

According to Sky Germany, head coach Julian Nagelsmann is not planning to bring in a replacement.

Previously, Bayern Munich’s Aleksandar Pavlović and Borussia Dortmund’s Felix Nmecha were forced to pull out of the squad due to injuries, with Stuttgart duo Angelo Stiller and Chris Führich called up as their replacements.
