Contract negotiations between Bayern Munich and Dayot Upamecano continue to stall.

According to Sky Germany, the French centre-back has been offered a long-term contract by the German champions, but it does not meet his demands.

Upamecano and his management “are not planning to make any concessions” and have made their expected figures clear to Bayern, the report claims.

It remains to be seen whether Bayern will be willing or able to improve their offer to satisfy the 26-year-old, whose current deal expires at the end of the season.

Other international top clubs, including Liverpool, are reportedly monitoring Upamecano’s situation closely, ready to act if he cannot agree on a new deal with Bayern.
