Wohlgemuth confirms Guirassy and Anton departures

Speaking to reporters from the start of VfB Stuttgart training camp, VfB sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth has confirmed that neither Serhou Guirassy nor Waldemar Anton will be returning to Cannstatt.

Outgoing VfB Stuttgart transfers Serhou Guirassy and Waldemar Anton have already been effectively confirmed by reliable sources. On Thursday, VfB sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth made no effort to disguise the fact that both players are on the move. Speaking to reporters from the official start of Stuttgart training camp, the club executive revealed that neither player would be reporting back to Canstatt. Both Anton and Guirassy should be unveiled by Borussia Dortmund soon.

The two players shall each be leaving the Bundesliga runners-up via exit clauses which, Wohlgemuth noted, have not been officially exercised yet. Such provisions must technically first be triggered. Guirassy and Anton must then pass BVB medicals and sign new working papers. Anton obviously cannot do so until his tour-of-duty with the German national team is complete. It's likely that Dortmund may wish to organize a simultaneous media roll out for the pair.
