19-year-old youth prospect to join Barcelona from Stuttgart

FC Barcelona have reached an agreement to sign VfB Stuttgart youth prospect Mirza Catovic, according to Sky Germany and Cadena SER.

Barcelona will reportedly pay €600,000 to take Catovic on loan, with the deal including an obligation to make the move permanent for €5-10 million depending on his appearances for the first or second team.

Club Brugge and RB Salzburg had also been linked with the 19-year-old defensive midfielder.

Catovic, a Germany U19 international, has yet to make his first-team debut for Stuttgart.
