Eintracht Frankfurt boss Markus Krösche is a leading candidate for Bayern Munich in the future, Sky Germany reports.

The deal becomes all the more imaginable if the Bavarians and Max Eberl eventually part ways.

Krösche’s negotiation tactics, handling of the transfer market and work to promote youth development at Frankfurt has not gone unnoticed.

Bayern executives are also impressed by the 44-year-old’s composed public appearances.

It comes as no surprise that Krösche was considered as a favourite behind Eberl when Bayern were searching for Hasan Salihamidzic’s successor.

Borussia Dortmund are also rumoured to be monitoring Krösche’s situation closely.
