Werder Bremen, according to Sky Germany's information, are interested in signing Mario Stroeykens from RSC Anderlecht.

A video call between the Bundesliga club and the attacking midfielder is also reportedly scheduled for later this week.

Werder's management intends to use the call to convince the DR Congolese international to join the club this summer.

Stroeykens, currently under contract with the Belgian Pro League until 2028, could cost a transfer fee of around €6million.

Furthermore, additional bonus payments would be added by Bremen depending on the 21-year-old's performances.

A year ago, Stroeykens was also a target for Eintracht Frankfurt, whom Anderlecht demanded a transfer fee of €20million.

The Hessen club weren't prepared to pay the asking price and therefore a transfer for the young talent never materialized.
