According to a report from AS, Real Madrid might be without Jude Bellingham for their UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash with Bayern Munich clash on Tuesday.

Real Madrid are set to take a measured approach with Bellingham as the midfielder continues his recovery, with no intention of rushing him back into the starting lineup.

The English star will not start their upcoming La Liga clash against Mallorca, and is also highly unlikely to feature at all or at least from the beginning against the Bavarians.

Bellingham's situation may seem slightly contradictory at first – he has returned to the squad and has been medically cleared to play, yet he is still not considered fully match-ready.

The explanation said to be behind the Spanish capital club's logic for the decision is that being available and being at peak condition are two very different things.

It begs the question though whether they will resist the urge to use the ex-Borussia Dortmund star against Bayern, or will he be thrown into the fray despite some lingering concerns.
