Dortmund crush fifth-tier side HEBC Hamburg to book DFB-Pokal progression

Borussia Dortmund booked their place in the second round of the DFB-Pokal on Tuesday night, cruising to a 5-0 victory over Oberliga side HEBC Hamburg away from home.
BVB head coach Niko Kovac made seven changes to the side that beat Hamburger SV 2-0 last Saturday, with Alexander Meyer, Marcel Sabitzer, Fabio Silva, Joey Veerman, Filippo Mané, Samuele Inacio and Mathis Albert coming into the starting XI.
Dortmund had to wait until the 33rd minute to break the deadlock, when HEBC defender Janek Wrede inadvertently deflected Julian Ryerson's cross into his own net.
The goals then started to flow for the visitors. Daniel Svensson doubled Dortmund's advantage before Samuele Inacio struck twice in quick succession to give BVB a commanding 4-0 lead at half-time.
Fabio Silva added a fifth after the interval, rounding off a comfortable 5-0 victory for the Black and Yellows.
