As officially confirmed by Eintracht Frankfurt this afternoon, Jeremiaha Maluze will be sidelined until further notice.

Maluze sustained a thigh injury during their 3-1 Bundesliga away victory against 1. FSV Mainz 05 last Saturday.

Despite the injury, the central defender played the entire 90 minutes against their rivals, even producing an assist for the second goal.

Regardless, the 21-year-old will be sidelined until further notice. Eintracht Frankfurt has since wished the player speedy recovery.

It remains to be seen if coach Adi Hütter reverts to a 4-2-3-1 setup, or gives Otavio a chance in the 3-4-2-1 against SC Freiburg this Saturday.
