Eintracht Frankfurt have provided an update on Ansgar Knauff after the winger was forced off in their 1-0 win over VfB Stuttgart at the weekend.

The Bundesliga side announced on Sunday evening that Knauff has suffered a "minor knee injury".

As a result, he will be unable to train with the team in the "coming days".

It remains to be seen whether the winger will be fit to face Werder Bremen on Saturday.

Nnamdi Collins came on as his replacement against Stuttgart.
