Junior Dina Ebimbe was very close to joining Schalke 04, but there could now be a turnaround with the new Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Adi Hütter having a different opinion. The all-rounder was given playing time by the Austrian coach in Frankfurt’s start to the pre-season.

Markus Krösche was previously working on a permanent transfer for the Cameroonian after a successful loan deal at Brest. Newly-promoted Schalke were keen on the signing, but they could now face a late snub after a total agreement with the player.

A deciding factor for Ebimbe’s future will be whether he’ll sign a new deal at Frankfurt. With his current contract, he’ll be a free agent at the end of the upcoming season. The former PSG player last played regularly at Frankfurt during the 2023/24 campaign.
