Serhou Guirassy is making progress in his recovery from the knee problem that has so far prevented him from making his Borussia Dortmund debut.

According to Kicker, Dortmund's new signing from Stuttgart could be in the squad to face Heidenheim in the Bundesliga on Friday.

The Black and Yellows activated an €18 million release clause in Guirassy's contract to sign him from VfB Stuttgart.

A knee injury was discovered during his medical, but Dortmund decided to go ahead with the signing of the Guinea international, who scored 28 goals last season.
