Sky Germany report Hertha Berlin decide to keep Ibrahim Maza after AC Milan and Porto fail to meet his valuation of more than €20 million. The two clubs held concrete negotiations before shifting their attention to other targets.

The capital city club dropped to 12th place after four defeats in their last six 2. Bundesliga encounters. However, Maza has been one of the best players in the division since the start of the campaign. The 19-year-old already reached double figures for direct goal involvements in all competitions.

The attacking midfielder decided to play for the Algerian national team as he made his debut in the AFCON qualifiers. While Hertha’s asking price could scare his suitors, more clubs will knock on the door if he maintains this form until the end of the season. Earlier today, Nürnberg agreed on a deal for Stefanos Tzimas’ summer transfer to Brighton & Hove Albion for a 2. Bundesliga record fee, €25 million.
